Job Description

  • Development and implementation of value-added Human Resource initiatives, Industrial Relations, and administrative excellence across all sites in coordination with Site HR’s and Site Leaders
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies to ensure consistency and clarity in HR practices across the organization. This involves regularly updating policies to reflect changes in labour laws, organizational objectives, and industry best practices.
  • Responsible for recruitment of all open positions PAN in with department heads to prepare job descriptions and manage the recruitment process from job postings to selection.
  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans for new and oversee daily HR operations Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of both physical and digital employee records.
  • Address and resolve employee grievances, providing necessary counselling and support. Implement skill gap analyses and implement learning and development programs across all sites. Collecting, analysing, and interpreting HR data to provide insights for decision-making is a key function, along with tracking key HR metrics and preparing reports and dashboards for the Director of HR.
  • Vendor management and benefits administration for recruitment, benefits management, including overseeing employee benefit plans like Group Medical Cover, Group Personal Accident, Group Term Life, and Gratuity is mandatory.
  • Plan and Execute employee engagement activities and organize wellness programs to promote employee well-being.
  • Identify institutions for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and ensuring legal compliance for these activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements related to labour laws and integrated management systems and participating in both internal and external compliance audits. Implementation of HR programs such as the Performance Management System (PMS) and Recognition and Rewards (R&R) programs, as well as driving effective communication programs
  • Office administration and facility supervision are part of the responsibilities, ensuring the management of office facilities and handling tasks such as travel arrangements, office supplies management, and maintenance coordination.
  • Managing the termination process ensuring all exit procedures are compliant with company policies and legal requirements ensuring timely processing of final settlements and necessary documentation for exiting employees.

Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • A master’s in human resources administration is a must
  • Minimum 8 to 12 years of experience in HR activities related to the Employee Life Cycle.
  • Experience working at a corporate office will be an added advantage.
  • Preferably in Manufacturing and steel/cement industries with knowledge of the Contract Labor Regulation Act (CLRA).
  • Extremely good hands on experience on MS Office

Skills and Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of labour laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, safety regulations, and other employment-related laws.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Effective communication abilities across all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent knowledge of HR analytics, reporting, statutory compliance, and labour laws (across different states of India).
  • Experience with leave management systems, PMS, ERP processes.
  • Awareness of the latest talent acquisition systems and processes.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Visio.
