Scarfer

Harsco Environmental is the premier provider of material processing and environmental services to the global steel and metals industries. We also have developed a range of by-products for specialized applications across industry, construction and agriculture, which utilize Harsco’s expertise in mineral materials.

We are looking for a quality oriented Scarfer.  If you are interested in a rate between $22.25 and $26.60 per hour, insurance and you can safely and proficiently utilize an oxygen/natural gas torch this is the job for you! A Scarfer is responsible for identifying and removing quality defects from steel products and is a key element of our quality assurance.

Basic Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Other:  Must be able to work in extreme temperatures as this position is performed outside

Preferred Qualifications:

        Technical Skills

·       Experience with Oxygen/Gas Torch preferred
