The position will be responsible for leading and managing a team of proposal specialists, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure the delivery of high quality proposals within specified deadlines and to customer specifications.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with team to develop and implement best practices, quality processes, templates and information library to streamline the proposal development process.
- Manage team workload and schedule to ensure timely completion and submittal of proposals.
- Proposal writing (individual contributor). Actively contribute to the development of persuasive, well-structured proposals that fully meet client specifications and Clean Earth standards.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts throughout the organization to gather information and translate the material into clear, concise, compelling proposal content.
- Maintain proposal tools such as templates, contact lists, portal access data, boilerplate and other material on the proposal group Sharepoint site.
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
- Strong computer skills: MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, Teams, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and five years related experience in hazardous waste industry.
- Three year's experience in proposal writing / management.
- Must be able to demonstrate initiative and motivation to achieve results with minimum of supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing and leading proposal teams to successful outcomes.
- Eight plus year's experience in hazardous waste industry.
- Experience reading and interpreting cost models for Hazwaste projects.
- Some travel may be necessary (less than 10%).
